Phoenix Suns Replace PayPal With Paze in New Jersey Deal
Early Warning Services, maker of Zelle, will display its Paze payment brand on Suns jerseys under a new multi-year partnership.
The Phoenix Suns have signed a multi-year jersey sponsorship agreement with Arizona-based Early Warning Services, the company behind the widely used Zelle payment platform, the organizations announced Sept. 28, 2026. The deal places the Paze brand — Early Warning's digital wallet product — on all Suns game jerseys, replacing PayPal, which had previously held the team's official jersey partner designation.
The partnership carries a local dimension: Early Warning Services is headquartered in Arizona, giving the arrangement geographic ties to the Suns' home market. The company described Zelle as a payment service that has become a routine financial tool for millions of Americans, and the new agreement is intended to extend visibility for its Paze product to a national NBA audience.

Jersey sponsorships have grown into a significant revenue stream for NBA franchises since the league introduced the program, offering brands a premium placement seen throughout broadcasts, highlight reels, and merchandise. By selecting Paze for that patch, Early Warning is making a calculated push to raise consumer awareness of a digital wallet competing in a crowded fintech marketplace.
The Suns did not disclose financial terms of the agreement. The partnership signals Early Warning's broader ambition to move Paze beyond its Zelle-associated identity and position it as a standalone consumer brand capable of competing with established digital payment names.
